Every Apology is a Short Drama Film that Kate co-directed alongside fellow NFS student Jade Williams. It explores a snippet of the life of a young woman named Ana as she navigates being a devout Christian in an abusive marriage, and how this prompts her to question her faith. This is done in a surreal way using the metaphor of a prison.
