Kate Canning is a writer/director, who has created a number of projects in association with the Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University, where she currently studies. Kate's body of work includes the Short Drama Film 'Every Apology', the Short Experimental Film 'Veneralia', and the Short Drama Film 'Loving Luna' which is still in production.

Kate is passionate about creating projects centred around the celebration of queer identities and amplifying the voices of marginalised genders. She is heavily inspired by the concept of camp and specialises in creating surrealist and experimental films. Kate is currently interested in pursuing a career in the field of music videos.
